I think if might be of interest to anyone who wonders how independent publishers get started and build up a business.
Oh and a reminded that Tonto Books open novel competition closing date is very soon - 31st March. I think essentially they are asking unpublished writers living in the north east to send their completed novels, and the best two get to follow the same process as I am involved in - support from a mentor, followed by publication - in this tentative world for debut novelists it's a real opportunity and my own experience has been almost entirely positive so far.......See their web site for more details
